Kathmandu, Lumbini and Mumbai Tour Overview

6 day guided tour from Mumbai to Nepal covering Kathmandu, Pokhara and Lumbini with sightseeing of major Hindu and Buddhist temples, natural attractions and cultural sites. Highlights include visit to Pashupatinath Temple, Budhanilkantha, Boudhanath Stupa, Swambhunath, Manakamana Temple with cable car ride, Devi's Fall, Phewa Lake boating, and Gautam Buddha Birth Place at Lumbini. Kathmandu, Lumbini and Mumbai Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Mumbai to Kathmandu

Depart from Mumbai to Kathmandu by flight. Arrive in Kathmandu as per flight schedule and transfer to the hotel. After refreshment proceed to visit Pashupatinath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, followed by time for shopping at the local market. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 2

Kathmandu

Morning after breakfast proceed for local sightseeing in Kathmandu visiting Budhanilkantha Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Boudhanath Stupa, Swambhunath Temple and the Thamel area. Return to hotel for overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 3

Kathmandu to Pokhara

Morning after breakfast drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. En route visit Manakamana Temple situated on a hill; enjoy a cable car ride offering mountain views, have darshan at the temple and then continue drive to Pokhara. Check in and stay overnight in Pokhara.

Day 4

Pokhara

Morning after breakfast proceed for local sightseeing in Pokhara visiting Devi's Falls, Vindhyawasini Temple, Gupteshwar Mahadev Gumpha, Seti River and Bridge and Pumdikot Shiva Statue on the hill. In the evening visit Fewa Lake with optional boating. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 5

Pokhara to Sonauli Border via Lumbini

Early morning after breakfast check out from hotel and proceed towards Sonauli Border. On the way visit Gautam Buddha Birth Place at Lumbini for pilgrimage and sightseeing. Overnight stay at Sonauli Border.

Day 6

Sonauli Border to Gorakhapur to Mumbai

Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to airport for onward journey. Depart by evening flight to Mumbai and arrive as per flight schedule. Tour ends with return to Mumbai.
